So this is the issue. Ok, there are alternatives you are now eligable for. As a single mother you can apply for Section 8 to pay your rent. Medicaid will provide medical coverage for you and the children. For now explain to your doctor how overwhelming it is to care for the children, yourself and trying to work. Commit to them putting your focus on taking care of yourself and your children and let him/her put you on leave indefinately. If they are prepared to call it a permanant disability take that. It's a process so prepare to be patient but consistant and determined. It's not easy and it seems like a lot, however it is a straight forward and simple process. Go online to the Social Security Administration and apply for benefits. You can apply for SSI and SSDI with the same application. Do the whole thing. There is a medical history form that is there to be done first. It's lengthy but doing it right makes all the difference in how your case will go. Prelude your recent diagnosis by providing a clear past history of health. Provide your pediatrician(s) while growing up and any doctors you have gone to as an adult. Then contrast that with your recent medical issues leading up to your diagnosis. Provide names and #'s of all physicians involved up to the present. Save a copy of the online medical form because you will pretty much duplicate it in certain sections of the online application for the SSI & SSDI benefits. I am prepared to walk you through this if you really want the help you need and willing to do what you need to do to get it.

From your lips to Gods ears. It's no big deal. She needs solutions quick. Besides, she is in crisis. Crisis intervention part of what I do. If I have helped her in any way then I'm glad for her and proud of myself.
